"Good?" He couldn't hide his astonishment. "I fermented vegetables overnight for that tangy depth, marinated the meat for hours to infuse every fiber with flavor, carefully blended spices to create a unique taste profile, and you say it's good?"

"Yea, it's good,” she replied, genuinely content with the meal.
